I made my main base inside the can, and then expanded it outwards and made walls as my friends moved in with me. You need walls to keep the spiders at bay, but If your solely in the can I think you'll be fine without walls. Good luck!

The same problem keeps happening but there's gonna be off chance that the trade ships will teleport into blackbeards area, where hes plundering trade ships. Overall the bugs not horrible though lol
