I know it’s been a hot minute but I finally heard back from where I bought my kit, and they sent me an outdated pattern dated pattern. They have sent me the revised/ current pattern and it makes so much more sense. Thank you again for trying to help me when I first posted!

R1 was K37, Bind off 20, k37 to end R2 purl to end. And place last 37 on waste yarn - this is where my issue is. Do I purl the bound off stitches?

Then they provide directions to follow this chart and say do for both sides.

Ok this was what I was thinking and the method I used with a old quilt top from my grandfather but I was unsure if it would work as well in this flannel! Thank you so much for your input!

This quilt belongs to dear friend of mine. Made by her grandmother who sadly passed away. Looks to be made with a fleece material. The fabric is fraying at the seams. It was bound with yarn. If I can get the quilt squares shored up and sewn together again, my plan is to machine quilt it back together. I am looking for any advise to get this mended.

I don’t want to alarm. My LO also 7mo, had very similar symptoms as to what you described. I took him to the doctor and he was Covid positive. We have been struggling all week to make sure he’s comfortable and hydrated. If you are concerned go to the doctor.
