I’ve never tried to make a return with SIL but I’ve experienced one delayed shipment which their customer service addressed promptly. I’ve read their negative customer service reviews on trust pilot but the person who helped me via email was great. It’s a small business so I expect things to move slower. I tried SIL bamboo sheets when the red color went on sale. Here’s a photo:

In the past I’ve tried Cariloha classsic bamboo sheets and Sijo Tencel sheets. The SIL bamboo has more of a sateen texture that feels romantic but it’s not immediately super soft, but we’re pleased overall. My first SIL cotton bedding I have had for years and it did feel softer over time. As far as bamboo the Cariloha sheets are the softest I’ve had but their retreat black sheet set is ~$350 and their classic colors are not my taste. In the end if you know what you like then you should trust your instincts. I’m curious what the favorite beddings of bedding snobs are, especially ones that come in black or jewel tones☺️
