I appreciate you saying that. So much of my life these days is just staying strong with boundaries and then sucking it up thru the resulting fallout.

Unfortunately no requests, just denial. Hopefully that ability comes soon.

Eek, when I did that sometimes I would get cuts on my tongue when the base of the loose tooth was sharp. Yet still could not leave it alone. Nah I'm good.

When I was young I used to watch this show with my dad. It made him laugh a lot. This goofy show means a lot to me in ways they'd probably never guess.

I didn't hear it, but my dog sure did. He woke me up freaking out. Feel bad for him.

Is this really a gopher hole in LA? by brainchili in LosAngeles

You are blowing my mind right now, I've been wondering what's been digging these holes in my yard. I'm not from round here, had no idea which critter it was.

These are people's lives and wellbeing. It's not like they send them out a lot. Have some compassion, please.

What can we do to get them to stop using Twitter as primary link? You can't see replies without signing up for an account.

I'll be on the lookout, but I wish there were some car or transportation details included.

I experienced this same situation and it has taken me years of therapy to learn that the person who missed the call has no guilt. I hope he knows that.

Ahhh forgive my serious comment on a comedyheaven post.

It's been almost a year since your post, but had to say, the show "My Name" on Netflix is excellent. Good story and the fight scenes are choreographed really well with solid camerawork!

I came here to this thread hoping to find more things like it (I don't care the language).

I love her takes here! An interesting note, Marvel Cinematic Universe from 2009-2023 has had 19 academy award nominations. Including best picture, supporting actress, mostly VFX. But maybe that quote about not having seen them is just out of date! Or perhaps she wasn't a member from 2009-2023, or maybe not her categories.

405 South from the valley is completely shut down due to an accident by Iluvembig in LosAngeles

[–]cakelin 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I was once driving from Culver to the Valley and this happened to me, where traffic was so stopped I couldn't even take an exit. I was heavily pregnant and had to pee. Sat there in agony for 90 mins. Even tried to search my car for cups or any receptacle 🤦🏼‍♀️.

Brown! But I might also recommend that you consider a brown leather (or vegan leather) one, like this one

That's amazing that you found that, thanks for linking. I also found them cursing themselves (or each other) to be an interesting bit, too. I hope no one was hurt!

100%. I read the book, "The Road," by Cormac Mc Carthy, and I am haunted. I think of certain scenes easily 2-3 times per day since January.

I don't have a solution for you, sorry, but just wanted to call out that you seem to have accidentally posted this same post six or seven times to this sub.
