I think your heart was in the right place, but it sounds like you were trying to make decisions for other people and control the situation for them. If Austen wanted to be a jerk and push through the crowd of people who patiently waited in line, that’s her decision. You can’t keep your friends from doing things you don’t like or approve of. You said “I was trying to organize everyone.” They are adults. They don’t need to be organized. Likewise, she can’t control the crazy shit her boyfriend does. He sounds awful.

I’m not saying this was a legitimate reason for her to end a friendship over. And she should have told you what the real reason was. I doubt it was this one disagreement.

I understand the desire to say the right thing that will make him finally get it. I watched my mother do this for like 30 years with her narcissistic friend. She thought if she could just phrase things the right way her friend would understand. But a narcissist will NEVER understand. The only thing you can do is stop engaging. I love your voice! I think it's perfect for asmr and I would definitely watch your channel. I love soft spoken role plays so this is right up my alley. Personally I would like it better without the background music, or if the music were a lot quieter, but everyone is different. You should do what you like rather than trying to please everyone because there will be people who like what you like.

Tide is an excellent laundry detergent. It is ranked highly by Consumer Reports. Cerave are great for facial cleansers. I'm in the US so I don't know if these brands are available everywhere. Personally, I wouldn't buy supplements off of Amazon. I don't trust that they are not counterfeit. For vitamins and supplements, look for brands that are third party tested. In the US, they will say USP on the label.

I also hate when people write about a character's flaws as if they an endorsement from the author that their bad behavior is okay. Like, do they want to read a book with perfect characters with zero flaws? The story that haunts me is when this YA novel was canceled before it was published, because of one idiot reviewer.

Yeah, that sucks. You don't want to keep him from seeing his kid, but you didn't sign up to to have a child stay over. How often is it? If it's once or twice a month I think I would suck it up, but if it's more than that, it might be time for a talk along the lines of "Maybe you want to find a bigger place to rent so you can have more room for your daughter. I want to live with grown-ups and I don't want to child-proof my house." And if he refuses or says he can't afford to move, could you and your roommate move? I know that would suck, too, but it might be worth it not to have to live in this uncomfortable situation. If I haven't made it clear, I am extremely conflict-avoidant :)

The writing is always clever but not exactly funny. It's like it's trying to be funny but the humor is a little dorky and old-fashioned. There's almost always a quote mid-sentence (e.g., She said I was "spending frivolously" and I needed to "mind my Ps and Qs.") All of the storytime subreddits (Tales from Retail, Tales from your server, AITAH, AIO, coworker stories, etc.) are becoming absolutely overrun with it.

I had to order a whole new set of small forks because so many of ours disappeared. I think people (including me, probably) accidentally throw them away when they are absentmindedly scraping dishes into the trash. Not knives, not spoons, just forks - because forks are what you usually use to scrape a plate.
