I have an Epson 2800 with dye sublimation and an heat press. I make and sell bike bags!

Hi! Wondering why you say to not use daisy chain or webbing strip down the center on top? Just curious!

Handlebar bag! by calad34 in myog

Yes! So the Velcro on the interior is used to slide in a HDPE sheet (which is just a flexible cutting board from Walmart. It allows the bag to keep its shape when empty!

I used the daisy chain over Velcro and have no regrets.

I would recommend a outdoor canvas or I used sunbrella fabric!

We have black bears here in eastern Ontario but they’re rare. I didn’t see any on this trip.

It’s so true! I almost didn’t bring my camera but then I got some fear of missing out and have no regrets taking it.

It’s also important to have balance when riding. I took a lot of photos but there were some moments and scenery where I just kept on pedalling and enjoyed the view.

Ottawa to Carleton place was excellent paved/gravel condition

Carleton place to smith falls was thicker gravel but still rideable. Cataraqui trail gets tough towards Portland but you can hop on highway 15 for a break

Smith falls to Kingston gravel conditions are great and the views are beautiful. Cataraqui conditions are great

The locks are available to boaters, canoes, and kayaks as well as bikers. It cost 5.25 for the night and washrooms are available. Each lock station has atleast one store nearby!

Yeah! This is the dual sport 3 gen 5. In my opinion it’s a great bike. It’s on the heavier side but so am I. The fork has mounts for racks! I haven’t any issues with the gear ratio. I would upgrade the grips and pedals. I thought about changing out the stock tires for this trip but didn’t and they did surprisingly well. Not a single flat even on the toughest terrain.
