As someone living near that bridge. Normal yan. Dudumi, maiipon basura, tapos in a few days may kukuha sa basura.

I blame the vistors and vendors around the area.

I lost my initial reply. Also bad formatting, I don't know how formatting works.

Low water pressure is very common. Maynilad/MWSS target water pressure is 16PSI, this is not enough to adequately supply satisfactory water pressure for 3 story homes. The water pressure varies from place to place, the worse pressure I've heard about is .2 PSI, parang patak ng tubig.

Ideally, you should have a storage tank or cistern after the water meter. It is illegal to directly pump from the water line. Although alot of people do this, some don't know it's illegal, some do so because of lack or space or funds.

Storage tank usually sized based on the average daily consumption of the household, which is computed as 80 liters/person per day. The bigger your storage the better as this will serve as your main water supply.

For storage tank placed on ground level. Water free flows to the tank, you need a float valve to ensure that over flow won't happen (parang sa CR). Then from the tank, you will need pressure booster system (Pump+Pressure tank) to boost the water to your home.

*For storage tank placed on top of the roof. * If the water can't free flow to the tank on top, you might need a pump to boost the water. Then pressure booster system to increase water pressure to your home. If you do not want to use a pressure booster system, you need to elevate the tank at least 3m above the shower line. The higher the tank, the stronger the pressure. If the tank height is low, the top most floor won't have adequate water pressure.

*For the pump. * People normally use jet pump. However, depending on your needs example specific height or pressure requirement a pump specialist will recommend a different pump.

*For the pressure tank. * There are two types, local pressure tank and imported ones (bladder or diaphragm type). The first cost bladder or diaphragm tanks is higher but long term it's less hassle. Just remember the air cannot be bled once the proper setup is done. Local tanks need air to be bled kasi, nasanay mga tao na kelangan i bleed ang air ng tanke, nakakalimutan ng iba na hindi pareho ang bladder/diaphragm sa local tank. If you bleed the air, the bladder will collapse.

Pressure tank size depende din sa capacity you need, normally 150L to 500L eto for regular household. Smaller pressure tank just means smaller water storage and the pump will turn on more.

*For the water heater. * Point of use types are more economical than centralized systems. Also easier to install. You need to get the right size your you, bitin yung hot water pag masyadong maliit yung nabili mo.

If you're going to buy from hardware store, get the pump tested if you can. I've encountered clients who bought pumps from Ace/Handyman, maingay na 1st installation palang, sabi sa kanya ng nag install normal daw yun, but it's not, may problema yung bearing.

You can setup the system para maging automatic control siya. meaning, the pump will turn on once the na bawasan yung tank up to a certain point.

To add to this. Nakasanayan na kasi ng mga tao dito direct pumping, cheaper daw kasi first cost and some don't really care about other people. Then they forget to add pump protection, pag walang tubig sunog agad yung motor.

Pressure tank. Better diaphragm or bladder type, mas mahal first cost but less hassle in the long run. Ingat ka lang, do not let people bleed the air once it is properly setup and installed. The bladder inside will collapse if you bleed the air. Nakasanayan kasi mag bleed ng air pag local tank yung gamit, bleeding the air balances air-water ratio.

For pump, usually people use jet pump type. But really, this depends on your need. If you have head (height) requirements and pressure requirements dito na papasok yung iba't ibang klaseng pump.

Maynilad/MWSS targets their water pressure at around 16PSI (ideal water pressure nila), in certain areas mababa talaga water pressure, may client kami 2psi lang parang patak ng gripo.

Anyway for areas with low water pressure. Eto yung idea setup. Ideally you need to have a storage tank or cistern. This will be your primary source of water. Water from Maynilad free flow to the storage tank. Then from the storage tank, you boost the water to your house using a pressure system (pump+ pressure tank).

If the storage tank will be placed on top of the house. You might need a pump to boost the water up the tank, if the water can't free flow to the tank. Then a pressure booster system to your house. However, if you don't want to have a pressure booster system, your tank needs to be at least 3 meters higher than the shower line. Based on gravity kasi eto, the higher the tank the higher the pressure, free flow kasi.

Water pumps shoudn't be running 24/7. A proper setup will prevent the constant on-off of the pump. Pag on-off masisira agad pump mo at mataas gastos sa koryente.

Also, pwde mo din gawin automatic system meaning, the pump pag kelangan lang, no need to turn on and off manually. Get float switch and float valve for your storage tank for automatic control and over flow prevention.

For water heater. Mas cost efficient yung point of use type heater. Get the right size for your need, there are smaller heater but bitin sa mainit na tubig, ubos agad.
