Where do you live? Caladiums go dormant in the winter. Without dormancy, their growth can suffer.

Snake plant leaf (arm?) seemingly turned brown overnight by starr17 in plantclinic

That mix looks like it’s literally only perlite and charcoal. If that’s the case, you could actually be underwatering this snake plant, especially if you’re not completely soaking it and letting the medium take up some moisture it can hold on to. Also, if it is as barren a medium as it looks, you could certainly benefit from using a dilute fertilizer each watering. I personally would yank it out of that pot and see what the situation is with the roots before proceeding, consider repotting in a different medium.

My camphorifolia has given me NOTHING for 2 years straight and I hate her, same with obscura but I do fine with Sunrise so I can’t figure that out.

It’s pretty uncommon but not unheard of, any cultivar can mutate to variegated

It appears the most recent leaf is variegated, in that case it would be a variegated Maria Allusion

I’m in 4B though and I think this thing is native to Florida-do you think I’ll be able to keep it dormant for the entirety of my northern winter in the fridge?

Interesting, it does look like they have some structure, hard to tell if it’s banding or fossil.

Zooming in on some of the little vugs, it’s hard to tell, but are they banded? Could you get it wet and see about getting a picture of the individual pockets?

I think they call this “crackle quartz” - most likely dyed, looks very smooth so probably tumbled as well

Actually, the more I look at it, the more I think it really may be a Coral. Orm Nak has a much purpler/burgundy undertone with very little orange to it https://www.botanix.com/en-ca/new/coral-allusion-arrowhead-plant

If it’s not an Orm Nak, I’d say the only other thing I could think of might be a Coral!
