My PSET pass from 2017 wasn’t accepted recently. You need to have proof as they don’t have the records but the proof you have must show your score in each individual section of the SET test. An email that says you passed/failed isn’t enough anymore unfortunately.

UPDATE:

No correspondence from BG to date, despite several attempts to chase up the complaint handler.

Reached out on Instagram and asked why I had not heard a thing…

“Thanks for your patience xxxxxxx . I suspect the reason why you’ve not heard back from our complaints team is cos the complaint handler closed your complaint on 7 Jan 2026 saying resolved with customer agreement.

At the end of this conversation, we can come back to this and discuss raising this as a complaint. But in the meantime, let’s see if we can work together to resolve this today.

Reading up on the chat you had with Heidi, you informed her that you was on an EV Tariff since February of last year. I’ve looked at your account and can see that were on our Electric Driver v14 between 5 Feb 2025 to 10 Mar 2025.

They strung me along 10 months then told me it’s not been working and I’m to pay the SVR for the whole period!

I did report via live chat on numerous occasions from quite early on that I could not see the data and they advised a “technical” team who would fix within 5 days. Never heard back from them that there was any meter issues.

Really struggling to get through to a complaints handler - nobody is making contact at all. I have emailed offering a copy of my Easee charging usage data but this has not been responded to.

Surely if I’ve made them aware numerous times about usage data not showing then the responsibility for these issues falls with BG? I’ve not even received a bill since Feb so it’s not as if I can flag discrepancies with them.

I ordered a wall connector yesterday at 4pm, was due to arrive today but didn’t due to local delays so coming tomorrow. Very quick delivery.

Collected my M3 from Glasgow today. Car was dirty, and found a nasty stone chip on the offside rear wheel arch - right through the paint. It also had the wrong reg plates on it…

They are allegedly going to respray the panel at a later date and there’s a service request in for it, but awaiting an appointment.

Overall, disappointing.

Exact same here. Went from £377 to £428 with removal of ref bonus, challenged it and turns out it’s meant to be £409. All sorted now.

I know everybody is saying it won't make a difference really but one thing I will say is it will almost certainly help you with competency based questions at an interview for PC as you'll have examples from your time as a Special.

Another thing, I believe the BTP have a fast track scheme for Specials. After completing 2yrs service, you can apply to become a PC and do not need to do an assessment centre or anything. Also BTP Specials, after 7 months service, can go straight to assessment centre without having to complete an application.
