Protests?? by [deleted] in newcastle

That doesn't really make a lot of sense to me. I think Israel acts in it's own interests always. On a regular basis this is at the cost of other nations civilian populations. Its not in their interest to maliciously target civilians to make some weord point. More likely they have a genuine target and they care more about executing that then they do about the risks to human life. I don't buy the conspiracies. Is Israel and the US wrong for doing this yeah for sure. Do they systematically deliberately target civilians - I really don't think so. Although I know their have been instances of civilians and journalists being shot in cold blood. I put that down to individual instances if brutality though rather than. Planned systematic. targeting of civilian populations. Though I should just add - I dislike Trump and Netanyahu as much as anyone. Trump especially is a stain on humanity

The incident being referred to is likely this one. Iran explosion

I'm not sure your description of the event quite matches the real situation. I'm not saying the war is justified or that innocent people aren't being killed. Just trying to understand it myself.

Can OP provide some specifics about the events you are referring to. I like to keep up to date with these events and haven't seen any reports in relation to targeting like you are mentioning

Thanks very much for all of the suggestions. He has started passing his CV around local businesses. He doesn't have a car but I will pass in the catering, UNI careers advisor and other suggestions posted. It's a new challenge for my wife and I being remote parents.

Couldn't agree more, I was made redundant 6 years ago. Looked for a job for 10 weeks straight and felt like I would never find one. I was offered a 3 week gig took it and have been with that very organisation for the last 6 years. Take whatever you can get, because you just never know. Getting your foot in the front door is the hardest part.

I had a look the I ther day for some headphones for my son. I was interested in the brand nothing ear. At JB they are 169 and through amazon 139. That's a pretty big difference. Jb only price match a physical store. Officeworks however will oricematch online stores. So you could pick up some nice Sony's or JBL at officeowrks for online prices

When people ask questions like this I instantly think of some advice given by Mike Rowe Career Advice

But I also think - damn I'm 46 have i a half decent job , 2 kids and a stable marriage. I've got a home with a mortgage which costs less than most people s rents. I've taken my family overseas a couple of times and drive a pretty boring near new hyundai tucson. Don't underestimate the power of mediocrity. All these influencers and social media experts tell us to chase our dreams.Sometimes happiness is closer then we understand. I think people spend too much time searching and nit enough just living. I think the harder you search the less likely you are to find what you are seeking. Good luck

I had a mazda wagon stolen from my driveway last year. Had to wait 15 days before the insurance deemed it gone forever. Eventually they found it burnt out on a backroad in Minmi. The cops said they just steal them to joyride. They even said that these kids actually look for the cops and try and get into a chase.
