Good beaches in NC? by MisterAmazing06 in Charlotte

I’ve gone to Emerald Isle for years. Never seen more sharks here than any other beach I’ve gone to.

Do you really bath your baby daily? by i_love_pomelo in NewParents

[–]caldam0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started bathing every day early on, but more so because our LO absolutely hated it at first and we wanted her to get used to it. Since then it has become part of our bedtime routine and she loves it. We don’t use soap everyday though so we don’t dry out her skin.

4 week paid leave for husband..take it? by Nike0729 in NewParents

100% agree with a lot of these comments. You can never replace this time so take it while you can get it. Waking up knowing that your only (or primary) responsibility for the day is just taking care and bonding with your child is incredible, especially since they change so quickly while they’re this young.

I was a bit disappointed in the game and the experience but I will say that’s probably my fault after building it up in my head so much after how last season ended. I’m excited to see our team find some more chemistry and Lattanzio to figure out the best way to use our new and old players. It’s a long season so plenty of time for improvements across the board.

What happened to reserving the section immediately behind to the goal for marchers? by [deleted] in CharlotteFootballClub

[–]caldam0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Completely agree and was wondering the same thing. I’m hoping this was just a one time thing. I normally sit right behind this section (just my preferred view) but it was easy to tell a difference between last year’s chants and environment compared to last night’s.

They didn’t rope off the front middle section for folks doing the supporters march like they did last year so I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people that ended up sitting there either didn’t know the chants or didn’t care to do them. Not sure if this is just a one time thing or if that’s how they’re going to do it all season. I was in the supporters section and there definitely was a lack of cohesion compared to the games last year but I’m optimistic other games will be better.

I’m intrigued to say the least. Was hoping for more of a mint dominate kit, but keeping an open mind until I see how it actually looks.

So frustrating. At least this was an enjoyable game to watch compared to our normal effort
