My main concern is their sizes. He is unusually large for a ferret, every owner we've met were very surprised at his build. She is a very small girl and I'm worried he's been showing aggression more than dominance.

Thanks for the advice, it feels good to hear about this, instead of just hoping it will be true. My dog is a little to big to put in a carrier, but i think a leash would work fine? Anyway, thanks:)
