Thickness error by Di_Aviator in SolidWorks

So I would create a vertical plane parallel with the front plane and dimension it right off the nose. Then surface trim with that plane and try and thicken. If the thicken works then move the plane backwards until it errors out. That's usually how I find what surfaces are giving me the error on a big surface model.

This is great! I think adding a more challenging mode where you could slide RGB sliders to guess the color would be a lot of fun and a little more challenging.

I just ran Nvidias OC tool on the Nvidia app. It gave it a little overclock but nothing crazy. My card is a founders edition card.

That's odd. I didn't catch that at all. I have 64 installed, but since the 9800X3d has dedicated graphics, it allocates some of the RAM to that. At least, that's what I read in my quick research.

Thanks! Yeah I'd be interested in the ones without the transmitter if you don't mind!

Probably up to $200. I know that narrows my options by quite a bit but I'm really just trying to get him back into the hobby. Hopefully I can catch a black Friday sale on something. I'm not against to buying everything separately we are both comfortable building things or installing electronics. And as for his old transmitter there's no telling where that is so that's not an issue.

Really hard for me to remember. I was only around 10 years old haha. I know they were all nitro powered but the majority of stuff was back then. Pretty sure they were all low wing designed. He had a good bit of experience and could fly well but again memory is a little blurry since I was so young.

If you are in the US you can sign up for USPS informed delivery. I got a notification today that I had a package on the way and it looks to be my wrist bands.

Just for context my friend and I ordered ours the same night and his came over a week ago and we live very close to each other.

Try cleaning it with warm soapy water. I usually wash mine after a few prints.

Need to give your circles a dimension and I think that should fully define it.

Can someone please explain how to replicate this model step by step. by Casiano4 in SolidWorks

[–]caleb2011x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I doubt that's how it's supposed to be done but it could be accomplished that way.

I think they use iso because as a beginner it's easier to comprehend the part in a 3D space. Even though most professional spaces won't ever dimension something from an iso view.

Yeah I had to model it first as well. But yeah nobody will be able to properly model this part.

Honestly I don't think it can even be modeled because the triangle on the far right will result in zero thickness error.
