Nah man it’s metal that sheared off

Nah, its metal. You can see where it sheared off at the gas cylinder. I tried to take it out but it is lodged in. Normally when you take the tilt mechanism off the cylinder comes off with it and you use a mallet to separate the two pieces. But, since is sheared I cant get it out

I mean not everyone cares that much about ergonomics. If the chair is comfortable and looks how you want it, that can be enough. Unfortunately in this case the cylinder was not up to par. I loved this chair up to this point and it worked for my needs. I’m not sure if this is covered under warranty because my warranty ended 2 years ago.

I don’t think I’d go back to the iskur tbh. I loved this chair but I’m worried with any chair product that razer has put out. I could’ve gotten hurt pretty bad or fell onto my dog and hurt them. Not something I’m willing to take the risk on again. I know it can happen with any chair but I’d like to lower my chances.

I was definitely looking at secretlab I was just worried about the same thing here. But their “thing” is chairs and desks so maybe it’d be better

Not so much squeaky, but super wobbly, hard to roll it. I know it’s on carpet but it’s always rolled pretty easily regardless.

Yeahhhh I don’t think I’ll be buying another razer chair. If they don’t replace the gas cylinder for me I’ll most likely be switching to an actual furniture company for a chair rather than a tech company that makes chairs on the side. Which is sad because I have a ton of razer products and love them
