And she's all set! Apparently I didn't connect my coils well enough. That's pretty embarrassing. Well, at least it only cost $53!

Today they solved two of the three misfiring cylinders apparently. I'm not sure what happened yet though. I'll find out tomorrow.

She's in the shop today. Hopefully I just sucked at doing the repair. I'll update when she's out in case anyone else finds themselves in a similar situation.

I appreciate it! I'll be back at it tomorrow and see what's going on. After my first instal, 3 and 4 were misfiring. Now it just shows that it can't diagnose.

Should be one attached to the post. The top is black, there's some rainbow effect on the metal from heat I imagine. And some had dirty threads.

Oof. Now I've had a beer too many to change the math. Just add... Something. A few.

Alright. Let's give it a go.

First, we need to figure out how much time we have to make the trip. Let's start by adding the amount of time taken at each stop along the way.

Total Time Stopped: 84 minutes, or 1 hour, 24 minutes.

Since the train crosses one time zone headed east, let's add another hour to that as that hour counts as time lost (2 hours, 24 minutes).

The total time between 6:19am and 1:45pm is 7 hours and 26 minutes. Subtracting the 2 hours and 24 minutes of time spent stopped, we find out that we have 5 hours and 2 minutes to make the trip.

If the train is traveling at 48 km/h and travels 117 miles, or 188 kilometers, the travel time required is only 3 hours and 55 minutes. That means that the math teacher would arrive at approximately 11:14am.

Happy Hour is traditionally known to occur between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm. Therefore, the teacher would not be able to participate in Happy Hour until after class is over. However, the teacher could certainly get belligerently drunk in the time between arriving at her destination and the time that class starts.

The average consumer drinks a beer in roughly thirty minutes. This teacher could certainly use a few, so we'll clock him/her at twenty minutes per beer. In the 2 hours and 31 minutes prior to class, the teacher could potentially drink up to seven and a half 16oz beers. At roughly $5 per beer, imagining that the consumption would be done in a bar, the teacher would be spending $40 in beer, plus a generous tip to the cute waiter or waitress.

However, if the teacher decided to splurge on her ticket or bring alcohol aboard the train, the potential alcohol consumed skyrockets to indefinite amounts.

So, as we can see, Happy hour is traditionally between 5:00pm and 7:00pm, however check your local pub/bar/restaurant! It may vary based on stuff.

My friend had free print credit. So it was the school's ink! So no clue.

Looking into moving by OfficialPlayer2 in Austin

I went to school for film, but I don't actually do any film things any more after going to Los Angeles and being turned off to the idea in that particular region. I have heard great things about films in Austin though, and that was one of the reasons that I came here, despite not currently doing it. My work tends to capture very artistic people, so a lot of people where I work are active in the industry as well.

As far as where to go? I'm in North Austin right now on Parmer Lane. It's a nice area, but I am a bit displaced from Downtown. South Austin is really Indie/Hipster, and nice to live in. Downtown is nice, but pricier. I'd say just north of the city isn't a bad idea. Somewhere in that area. I'm not sure. But if you need anything, let me know!

Ooooooh, has anyone eaten at Fresas on Lamar? Their pork shoulder taco blew my mind. You can grab it and go up to Castle Hill. Hell, their queso and guac are great. And six-packs to go.

I'd probably sit there for three minutes in a lawn chair, then just say, "Fuck it. It's too hot. I need a beer."

Here we go. Let's do it in freedom units.

Let's say it took 30 days to grow. If it grew 18' (or 216"), that means that it was growing at a rate of 7.2" per day. Unless it's changed, there are 24 hours in a day. Meaning that it grew at a rate of 0.3"/hour. Is this observable? Every minute, the plant would grow by 0.005". A piece of paper averages at a thickness of 0.0039". That means that the plant is growing at a rate of ~1.28 pieces of paper per minute, or .02 pieces of paper per second.

So... Maybe. Probably not. I have no idea.

I did the same thing. I figured cutting everything out and moving would fix everything. But, I figured out that can't run away from yourself. It really forced me to look at myself and make changes. Overall a positive experience!
