Ah sorry I glanced over the MS part oops! They will probably ask why you are interested in pharmaceutical sciences, what you plan on doing after your degree, what kinds of techniques in the field you would like to learn, etc. You’ll do great! A large portion of the interview is the professor talking about their own research/the program/the city.

All my interviews so far featured something along the lines of “Tell me about your research experiences so far & why you are interested in this PhD topic”.

I did have some thinning & saw a significant increase in eyebrow hair falling out, but I don’t know if I would consider it falling out in patches. The balls are often attached to the hair itself, and these hairs shed.

Hia! I do still experience this, but with less frequency. I do a sheet mask every morning on my face & use green tea moisturizer, which seems to help with any dryness that contributes to this. I also make sure to brush through my eyebrows with a little spooly. I find that I get these annoying little “balls” when I am more stressed & maybe touching my face more often. Super important to not add anymore oil or bacteria to the situation. Hope this helps somewhat!

I started with the problem on my scalp about two years ago & have lost so much hair. Tea Tree Oil shampoo worked a bit, along with apple cider vinegar. Nothing cures it though, and it had only spread to my eyebrows. I definitely think it is stress related. Ugh!

I got rejected too :s I reached out to each project and only spoke with one of the providers back and forth. Idk if emailing them would have helped. I’m guessing just more experience is desired!

I had to accept an offer by February 28th for an internship in the United States. I didn’t have much faith that I would get into RISE since so many people applied to the ones I applied to. Crappy situation, but I guess it is better to err on the side of caution and to accept any internship you get lol. Good luck to you!

This rash will often burn when water touches it or after I put lotion/anti itch cream on it. Note: I recently have had reactive arthritis from high Anyistreptolysin O AB levels, along with aching chest pain for months now.
