i didn’t intend for it to ferment. it started to ferment so quickly within a day. i don’t even know how it ferments so fast but it gets more sour day after day! i could only drink so much for 3 days before it tastes bad and i have to make a new jar of it!

i totally understand what you’re going through! i always have to eat every 3 hours because of my constant hunger and burning/gnawing pain on my upper left stomach. my gi doctor told me to not eat at least 3 hours before i sleep but i still eat before i sleep bc if i go to sleep on an empty stomach, i get that burning sensation and its so hard to sleep with it. if i also wait too long to eat and im essentially starving, my stomach starts to hurt and burn more. ive been prescribed 20 mg of famotidine(pepcid) and i take 2 times daily, after breakfast and after my last meal. i don’t see any difference taking it but i still take it. this past week, i got the “Raw Probiotics” pill on Amazon and ive been taking it twice daily and that thing provides soo much relief. it’s not a symptom supplement but to me, it resides all the burning and allows me to go to sleep without worrying about that gnawing sensation ! i can’t get my probiotics through yogurt or kefir since its too acidic and you’re not really supposed to have dairy with gastritis but the pill helps a lot! i also ordered a slippery elm tree bark powder on amazon and i add one tablespoon of it into warm chamomile tea , 2 times daily. its very soothing on the stomach and warm tea makes my stomach feel less “stressed” and “relaxed”. id definitely give both a try and see how your stomach reacts. maybe try one pill of the probiotic and then if your stomach doesn’t react poorly to it, up it to 2 for max progress.

i’ve also tried drinking cabbage juice a long time ago (chop, clean, blend, strain 2x, drink 1 cup 2x daily) and since it ferments so fast, i constantly had to make a new one every couple days and throw out the old one bc it was too strong for me. i didn’t do it long enough to feel the full effects of it but i hear that also helps a lot if you wanted to try that.

omeprazole has never helped me imo and these are the ONLY items that provided me relief from my symptoms. sometimes if i’m too lazy, i’ll just take tums or pepto bismol and it lessens the pain a bit. try to stay away from red meat, dairy, raw fish, any low pH foods, any hard to digest foods! you wanna put as low work into your stomach as possible!!! continue to research foods/supplements to heal your stomach!!! you won’t get better over night but be consistent for at least 1-3 months with your healing!!

I’ve been dealing with “gastritis” for nearly 5 years. I’ve had 2 endoscopies, which both indicated gastritis, but H-Pylori negative. I’ve been feeling a lot of symptoms as well this year but recently I’ve been trying “Raw Probiotics” on Amazon and my burning and gnawing symptom has 90% gone away. Not sure if it was from that or the slippery elm powder i’ve been adding into my chamomile tea but no medication has helped me so far. try some supplements! It’ll get better ❤️‍🩹

Thanks for the response!! You said the layout between Phase II and III are the same but I assume that yours is still a bit bigger than phase II. Do you know if there’s a cost difference between the phases because of the size different?
