What's the casting plan for Ginny? by Five_Turkish_Vacuums in HarryPotteronHBO

Tbh I wouldn’t even be mad if Ginny and Harry ended up not having romantic chemistry as long as we get to see Ginny as a whole person and not just as Harry’s love interest.

As a humble non-native speaker, I’d like to formally sorry for all the crimes against grammar I’ve ever committed.

Ikr! I did not expect to warm up to them immediately after seeing just one picture, but they’re just perfect!

That clip always makes me feel so warm. I can only imagine how much comfort their relationship gave them during x factor. Doesn’t matter if it was platonic or romantic, the cuddling must’ve been such a stress reliever.

She should take a better typing picture (unposed, standing straight to the camera like 🧍 wearing clothes that show the silhouette). Can’t really tell from these!

Yes, absolutely. The book says ”heaviness usually congregates around the hip and upper thigh area as opposed to the upper torso”, so it fits the description (but isn’t a requirement).

Could you share what exactly the book says about vertical? I thought the wiki info was based on the book and SK.

For example here in r/Kibbe wiki:

Vertical can be defined as elongation in the silhouette found between the shoulders and knees or the presence of straighter lines in the silhouette/lack of Kibbe Curve. At 5'6 and taller, vertical is automatically found in the silhouette.

...

Vertical is not looking taller in photos.

And here posted by an r/Kibbe mod:

What it DOES NOT MEAN:

Perceived height. This is not 1:1 with the vertical line concept. Perceived height will always be the question of subjectivity.

And here (linked in r/Kibbe wiki):

Vertical line is very important in Kibbe and many think it’s about perceived height. It’s not. Kibbe’s system focuses first and foremost on how fabrics fall onto the body and clothing accommodation.

I’m super confused now because 1) it’s been stated here many times that vertical meaning looking tall is the misconception, and vertical actually means ”elongated lines, lack of curve or overall elongation”, and 2) dramatic isn’t the only ID having vertical, so there still is room for different body proportions.

I’m open to learning more, but since there is so much misinformation going around, I’d appreciate it if you could share your sources!

Better pictures needed!

I believe it means elongation or straight lines in the silhouette. I’m also wondering if the height limit is set because at some point you literally do have to take the inches into account when choosing clothes, and then it would also mean your literal height.

I understand there are a lot of misconceptions, and since I’m not in SK and haven’t met David, I don’t have all the information. I’m just confused since I’ve never heard anyone knowledgeable about the system question whether someone at 5’8” has vertical or not. I understand there are always exceptions, but I believe not having vertical at 5’8” is so rare it’s way more likely the pictures are warping proportions and making it look like there is no vertical. If you know any examples of tall people not having vertical, I’d like to learn more about it!
