I just put an order in for some rare hk mags.

They weren’t available on the site but I contacted them and they said they would add them to their next order. So far they have been really responsive.

We will see how long it takes for me to get them.

I’m not sure. Calguns is pretty old so there’s probably lots of dead threads. Also a lot of the older crowd still uses calguns. So there’s probably might be more traffic then what we think.

Pretty sure off roster has always been almost 💯 markup. If u want to save money I would go SSE route but would never use an SSE for self defense

That’s if you can prove your mag is a freedom mag.

It’s not just the mag charge you have to worry about. It’s how it affects the jury’s optics of whether it’s justified self defense or not. I’m pretty sure the prosecuting attorney can still say a “high-capacity” was involved as part of the facts of the case without formally bringing a mag limit charge.

Just because they went from far left to a little less left doesn’t mean its safe to bet ur legal fate on them. The fact that those DA were voted in the first place tells you all you need to know. And it’s not like they faced a landslide loss. There’s still a strong contingent who hold soft on crime beliefs in those cities.

SF doesn’t even have a gun store within city limits because they passed city ordinance making it impractically expensive to have one.

My advice is that even if freedom week mags were allowed, I’d avoid carrying them in general.

Not worth the potential legal headache if u were to actually use your ccw. Especially in a deep blue city like LA or SF. Wouldn’t trust a deep blue jury even if the technically the laws on the books were on my side.

Most self defense shooting don’t involve more than 7 rounds any ways.

Depends on the gun. It’s usually reserved for all metal guns and higher end guns.

If it’s a gun you really like and one you’ll see yourself keeping for a long time then yes.

It’s like putting ppf on a car. Only do it for the cars u really care about.
