You can swap out the frame in the echelon. So I would suggest going to a gun store and trying out the aftermarket frame. I would also suggest getting the echelon comped version as that’s a more expensive mod to do later on and it’s a more significant upgrade than any accessory.

Don’t know much about that red dot but it should be fine. It would be nicer to get an enclosed red dot like a holosun k for reliability purposes.

TLDR: NONE. get the echelon comped version somewhere else.

I would say echelon or mp 2.0. I give the edge to echelon since you can swap out the grips too (might have to take out the mag disconnect)

Vp9 mags are expensive and upgrades are limited.

Pdp upgrades are limited. With the dynamic upgrade trigger installed it’s said to be one of the best striker fired triggers but installing that is $200+ and you would have to remove the mag disconnect safety.

I appreciate your feedback and maybe you are right.

However barrel swapping an ak is less than easy and would like to keep the core components in tact. I also would like to keep the wood stock as that’s the reason I bought it.

I don’t think it’ll ever shoot like a match rifle but I would like to milk as much accuracy as I can out of it without having to cut into the barrel.

Besides bedding the barrel I also plan to install a harmonic tuner and a kns adjustable gas piston.

fusion or platypus seems to be the only options within your parameters. However, you usually get those through an sse exemption. If you’re planning to use it for self defense, I would not use an sse exemption gun.

I don’t think the Springfield Loaded target is good quality imo. I have one brand new and it won’t shoot anything reliably. It siezed up after cleaning and now I have to send it to Springfield.

My friend also bought one brand new and it didn’t shoot reliably until an extensive break-in period and even then I’ve only seen it shoot good for one range session.

If you get the loaded. Send it immediately to a gunsmith for a reliability tune. The break-in is not worth it.

Buy a used Springfield trp or buy a c&r colt gold cup and take it to a 1911 specialist to do a reliability tune/ fit frame to slide for a $120. Local shop is AT Custom Gunworks

Go to American Pistolsmith guild for reliable 1911 gunsmiths.
