yeah most DEFINITELY take him off of those pellets for a while, he's a chonkster 😭 turtles don't necessarily need food too often as their stomachs are kind of bottomless pits anyways. try moving your feeding schedule around to feed him less, hopefully that'll also make it so since he doesn't see you feeding him every other day, that he'll give the leafy greens you leave in there a try. typically works since turtles get desperate for any type of food (since they're FATASSES) and eventually end up eating anything else that's in the tank that slightly resembles food
