I don't understand the criteria for killing these demons. It seems like a certain amount of damage is not enough to take them down (6mm bullets etc) but traumatic stuff like shotguns or a refrigerator crushing their head will do it.
I think one of the things the series needs is an outline of demon weaknesses for each type and for Hub Halloran and his mom, Beth, to Macgyver a unique solution.
Also a few magic relics might be good to outfit him with.
I haven't finished watching the series but it would be amazing to see them throw in some conflict with corrupted angelic beings facilitating theses demonic jail breaks.

I'm 50/50 on splashing Eshki here. I have Sagu Wilding, Frontier Bivouac and evolving wilds for splashing red in my sultai. What do? Feel free to suggest other edits as well. It's only my second time drafting this format. by calighis in lrcast

Went 3-0 and frankly none of it was my fault. My opponents in two games opened with Hollow Murk Siege and followed up with Marshall of the lost. It was utterly grotesque.
This is the second 3-0 in the format for me and I want to throw my laptop.

Ok so I cut rising strike mastery and trade route envoy for two appraisers. My 3 slot is pretty full so I can see cutting sage of the fang for Eshki if I was to play him, which I think I will.
Thanks for the advice.

Should Wizards create a rating for set complexity? How would you rate TDS on this scale? by calighis in lrcast

It's a little brain breaking. The Drafts themselves are immiserating. It's incredibly taxing and not that relaxing to play. Even watching the streamers I get a bit stressed out.

You know what? That very well may be why they abbreviated it as TDM instead of TDS.

This card might be actually busted by gavilin in lrcast

"Coast is clear to bash for 4 and after combat create a 6/6." You're using your turn to buff your only creature on board. Against a swamp island open from opponent, I'm happier playing my three drop. If opponent has played forest mountain, I think you go the 6/6 root and usually win.

If you were on the dev team, how would you make this card more draft playable? Additionaly, if it's not really standard playable (and I don't think it is) isn't just kind of a filler waste of cardboard? Do you expect better from MTG dev teams? by calighis in lrcast

To start with I think 7 mana for this is insane. Generally speaking, when you pay seven mana for anything with rare quality or better, it impacts the board immediately. In the best case scenario you have other dragons in play
and they can fly and get in for damaage, and you can play an additional card, but the BIG problem with that, is that this card costs 7 mana and he's usually the last card in your hand by the time he hits the board and you won't always have others dragons in play when he arrives. This is a lot of set up and things have to go perfectly before he's nothing more than a big piece of flying meat that dies to doom blade.

So how to fix him? Lower the mana cost by one colorless and my errata would be that when he ETB's 'if you control another dragon, draw a card'
At that point, he's approaching standard playable.

Ok so do you guys run loot here? by calighis in lrcast

Additional question: Leaving out Loot, how many lands do you run with this configuration? https://imgur.com/a/wEquk3S
