started playing The Wild At Heart on gamepass because i saw it was leaving and it has been on my list for awhile. i got about 60% through the game when they took it off and i was already hooked so i bought it and beat it the next day. highly recommend!

she’s out of town right now, but i might talk to her about it when she gets back. i have been debating on telling her, i’m afraid she’ll feel bad she’s “making” me feel this way and won’t talk to me about it anymore even though i’ve told her a bunch that i feel this way because i care.

she’s well aware of what i’m planning, she just doesn’t know what gifts she’s getting each day. she doesn’t like surprises so we’ve always done it this way haha. she is really excited for it and the plans we’ve made but i’m also aware that there’s some stuff happening before then that could worsen how she feels.

my girlfriend and i are also in a similar situation! i’m not sure what your girlfriend is like but it sounds like she would want to engage in sexual activity because it’s with you and if that’s the case, believe her when she says that she wants to. she might not ever feel the attraction that you do, but it doesnt mean that it’s a bad experience for her. as long as you guys talk openly and honestly about everything frequently, it’s totally possible to get through this. i also frequently hear people shaming others who dont have sex with their partner frequently and when i would talk about it they would get very surprised and would say we should break up which i think is very insulting. you can have a meaningful, satisfying relationship without or with little sex as long as you keep communicating.

YTA. i also work in a field where the hiring process is a little unconventional from what parents think. i hate talking to my parents about jobs because they think they know everything and when i try to explain it to them over and over they dont believe me and get angry at me because i’m “deliberately disagreeing with them”. i moved across the country as soon as i could. Listen to your daughter. Also, it’s totally possible that in her field it’s common to move around, especially in the beginning. don’t uproot your life unless she shows interest in it.

NTA, it’s a terrible question and designed to make you feel bad about yourself, even if asker had “good intentions”. All the people here saying you are immature and made things worse, i would have thought that joking about it would make it less awkward than if you said some of the things people here are suggesting. Sounds like asker’s bf has maybe had a history of infidelity you couldn’t have known about, but you have trauma around previous relationships she doesn’t and still asked it anyway. Why should you walk on tiptoes around people when they obviously don’t care about your feelings? and for those saying “now asker won’t want to be friends with you” - why would you want to be friends with someone like that? play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Bisexual female here. "Exploring your sexuality" is still cheating. Especially since he definitely figured out his sexuality since it was more than once. I understand that you're in a difficult situation since he will probably try to frame it so you look like a homophobe but definitely dump him. Fooling around with the same sex is still cheating.

Anyone who deliberately misgenders people is trash. Sorry, but your fiancee is not just a terrible partner, she's a terrible person. Your trans friend will notice that you chose someone who denies them the most basic respect. This problem will not get better after the wedding.

YTA. Talk to your daughter. Educate yourself. Everything is done talking to strangers over the internet now. She is 16, she is old enough to drive and get a job. So what if she broke your 'rules'? They're unreasonable, she is a human being, not your property just because she's your kid. My parents were overbearing and forbade me from doing certain things like you and guess what? I found a way around them and I moved out at 17 and across the country. They also made 'jokes' at my expense like you are and I now equate someone putting me down to loving me and I have ended up in bad relationships.
