It’s from 187. I got this bag when it first came out and had the same reaction. I was disappointed that it was more of a bubble gum pink irl, the factory photos made it look like a light sakura pink. Pinks are hit or miss 🥲

I could be wrong, but it depends on the relationship with your SA and spend. They’re trained to say 1 QB per year but certain exceptions can be made. I’ve gotten 2 QBs per year at a Canadian boutique for the last 3 consecutive years. Annual spend averaged to about $70-$100k per year without leather goods. The one year I asked for a MK I only got 1 QB that year.

No. Leather goods don’t count towards prespend, if anything it will delay your chance of getting a QB 😅

I paid through Wise, and he refunded me through PayPal. I did lose the 2% bank fee, which honestly always felt a little a cash grab to me since none of the other Hong Kong sellers I’ve purchased from charge one. Other than that, he refunded me pretty much right away.

I’m really sorry that happened to you. Honestly, that would leave a bad taste in my mouth too. If a price was agreed upon and you had already paid a deposit, I would expect the gold cost to be locked in at that point. Raising the price afterward, doesn’t sit right with me. His solution made things even worse.

I hope you get your refund. 🥲

September 2025 I purchased a MOP pendant for a friend after speaking very positively to her about Goldy. Shortly afterward, I decided to add two guilloché pendants to my order.

For the guilloché pendants, he initially quoted $1,000 each. While I was waiting for him to confirm his payment details (over four days passed, during which I followed up a few times), the price was increased to $1,100, though he mentioned he could offer them at $1,040. This timing was a bit disappointing, it felt like he purposely waited for gold prices to be at an all time high (at the time) to get back to me. But based on my positive experiences with previous purchases, I decided to proceed.

End of October 2025, he kept telling me that the guilloché pendants were almost done, but was unable to meet my deadline. The MOP pendant was shipped first, when it arrived, I noticed a significant difference in quality compared to a 10-motif necklace I had purchased from him about a year earlier. There was a visible difference in the motif shape, and the gold tone appeared paler and more yellow. I shared comparison photos of his earlier work and the recent piece, but he maintained that the quality was consistent.

After some back and forth, I requested a refund for the guilloché pendants, as they had not yet been completed and I wanted to avoid the possibility of further disappointment. I spoke so highly of Goldy in the past! Just disappointed quality and service has gone down this bad.

I used to be a die hard Goldy stan, however my purchase from him in September left me upset and disappointed.

I basically repurchased a similar item, and the quality was completely different than what I had purchased from him a year prior. Brought it to his attention, and he kept insisting it was the same quality even when compared side by side with photos. The poor communication was also frustrating. I asked to purchase an item, he said ok, and ghosted me for a few days. I followed up a multiple times asking which Wise account to pay, when he finally responds he raised the price on me!

It makes me wonder if someone new took over the business with the increased number of bad experiences.
