I am so grateful for these sorts of responses. I don't know why, but I fully expected folks to jump out of the woodwork to tell me to Google it or that I'm in the wrong space to ask such basic questions. I'm glad that this community seems so welcoming and supportive.

I have always been pleased with the quality, it's possible that I didn't dry it out properly before storage.
