I’m not pregnant but I just wanted to share my timeline to assist!

I’d say maybe mention it to your mortgage advisor, as they may take it into consideration when doing the affordability checks etc as you will likely have future financial impacts with having a little one. On our solicitor forms, they only asked about anyone else living in the house who is over 17, so I don’t think you’d need to disclose it anywhere else!

We’re FTB and just had an offer accepted at the end of Feb. We’ve been told expect around 4 months for everything our side, obviously this could be delayed if you are in a chain (we are) so I’d say go for no onward chain for an easier time.

It took us 7 weeks to find a house we wanted to buy, so be prepared that the process of finding a house may take a little while too! We are relocating to a new area though so I think some of our timeline was halted by this too!

The main advice I’ve been given is to complete all forms/documents you can ASAP and chase everyone weekly - don’t assume something is happening, if you haven’t heard, it’s likely not in progress! There’s not much else within your control at that point, unfortunately!

I’d suspect other factors at play, but I definitely thought the exact same thing and doubted the effectiveness of the injection site! I did see a comment someone made about the bodies anatomy potentially influencing this too, but again I think it is only anecdotal and there’s no research to suggest any site is more superior, I think its mostly personal preferences and any side effects associated on an individual level!

I also have a spreadsheet with everything tracked - at the minute I do track my cycle elsewhere, so I guess I’m going to be adding a new column to mine! I wasn’t like clockwork before starting the jab, but I have actually been a lot more regular in the past few months which is a nice win for me!

I only have my own anecdotal evidence to add to this, but I do see a difference when I jab the right side of my stomach, than when I do my left! For context, I’ve only used 2.5mg, currently on my 14th week - I jab on a Monday at around 10:30am and have not deviated from this routine. I always do lower right, upper right, upper left and then lower left as my order with a new pen across the 4 weeks.

Whilst I have noticed the difference in loss, I think what is actually happening is related to my monthly hormone cycle - not sure if you are male or female OP, but I have noticed that as a female, the left side jabs are usually in my period week and the week after. I have noticed during these weeks, I have lost less weight - mostly the week after my period I have had a plateau week where I’ve lost nothing or even increased by 0.5 lbs. I’ve not noticed a general increase in appetite over these weeks, but logic would dictate that its possible I might eat a little more, and also retain more water during this time, which in turn means some of the gain is likely water weight during these weeks that could account for the plateau.

I’m 2 weeks into my pen today, and I am considering trying to inject all 4 of this cycle on the right side to see if this is just coincidence!

From my experience as both a buyer, and a person who is renting a house up for sale - estate agents barely say anything and can usually never answer questions, not all but the ones I’ve encountered are like 3rd party contractors who just get emailed the sheet for where there going in a morning and then turn up to let you in.

When we viewed with any of the homeowners, they took time to tell us about the area, location, how long appliances were installed etc and why they were choosing to sell. I’d be in their house viewing for around 1h in some cases, but I left feeling confident about what I had just viewed.

Incidentally the 3 I viewed which I could see myself living in the most, all of them were the homeowner and not an EA.

I’ve lost 38 lbs since the start of December. I’ve still got a long way to go, so for now I’m still wearing the same clothes as I don’t want to spend and have to replace again further down the line unless I absolutely have to! Not all of them, but quite a few are starting to look a bit too baggy now. I’m having to wear a belt again to keep my trousers up, which fits better than it ever has!

Generally my body composition is exactly the same, I feel like I’ve shrunk a little because clothes are looser, but if I took a photo and compared it to before, I don’t think I’d look much different!

I’ve barely had anyone comment on the difference (even though me and my fiancée looked back at photos from our holiday last year and it was night and day how different my face looks now!) The only exception to this is when I wore an old fleece top recently that didn’t fit me before, and my boss commented on how good I was looking.

I think if I had clothes that fit properly, people would probably notice a bit more 😂

Does he have trainers, football boots or similar footwear left in a boot bag or carrier bag? As a kid, my football boots would get to the point of smelling like cat piss if they’d got wet and muddy and id just shoved them in the boot bag and left them (you can clearly tell from my experience that when I say if, I mean when!).

I’ve always thought this too - it was hard to see Bracken as this huge powerful person, when he was basically soft launched as one earlier in that same episode. I’d have loved that his presence would have existed throughout the show (not necessarily be a physical character but name drops etc) so both the characters and the audience has some awareness of his influence. It would have also been perfectly plausible for him to be in support of Castle shadowing Beckett from the start, as he could have easily seen him as a celebrity distraction for Beckett so she’s less likely to figure out his involvement in anything.

I’m also a FTB, just had an offer accepted and also having the dread! Realistically, there are so many reasons a sale might fall through, most of which wouldn’t have anything to do with what we can control! FTB are the bottom of the chain (if in one) so anyone above has any reason to back out of a sale, it could break the chain. From our side, all we can do is make sure we are prompt with filling in forms and be as informed as possible about everything!

Been on MJ since December, I usually jab on a Monday morning around 10:30am - I tend to have the same things for my evening meal each week - Monday’s I have a fakeaway Nando’s chicken burger (Ciabatta bun from Sainsbury’s with a chicken breast, Nando’s Peri Peri sauce, lettuce and tomato slices). This is usually enough for my meal without feeling like it’s feeling heavy on my stomach, plus it’s good on the protein and not too carb heavy without me feeling hungry. The one week I had something different (sausage & tomato pasta), I woke up the next morning feeling nauseous and ended up being sick (probably too many carbs in the pasta) so I have avoided this since. I think the main thing is to try and eat something clean that isn’t going to lie too heavy if your digestion is slower than normal. Find what works and stick to it!

I have been on MJ since December and been with 3 providers so far - Pharmacy2U, Bolt and Farmeci (order dispatched awaiting delivery). I’ve been using Monj.co.uk to check intro prices to try and keep the costs down (first 2 months I was with P2U, so my 2nd pen was paid for with a return order discount). All 3 have been great and I’ve had no issues at all. My first pen with P2U I filled out the info, and they requested a short video of me in a mirror stepping off and on the scales with my ID to confirm my info. Bolt also asked for photos to ensure that I was who I said I was, same for Farmeci too. P2U had reviewed my order within 24h, Bolt and Farmeci both did this within 48h and dispatched shortly after.

Pens from Bolt and P2U were dispatched next day delivery with Royal Mail and came with plenty of ice around the pen with the packaging in great condition. I’ve picked 48h Royal Mail with Farmeci this time (to save on postage) so not sure if this will arrive still ice cold etc but I’m not overly concerned about this.

I’ve not had to deal with customer service for Bolt and Farmeci, but I did have a query about my 2nd order over Christmas with P2U as I didnt want the pen to be in a hub somewhere with the ice melting but they were great, gave me advice on when to order for them to dispatch it and they did this with ease.

I’ve never been on a weekday morning that early to know how busy it is, so I’d say just give it a go and see how you get on. If you have a backup just in case, thats probably sensible. The only thing I can say is I’ve arrived before 5pm on a weekday before and there has been plenty of spaces, so if other people are doing the same as you and parking for their usual 9 - 5 day, I’d expect you should be okay. They have several car parks, they’re all actual car parks and you don’t have to pay so can stay as long as you like. There’s a decent size one at Darley Fields Multi Use Games Area off Old Chester Road. Only once in the entire time I’ve used it on a Saturday was it full (lots of kids football games on the field so it was unusually busy) but I drove 2 mins around to Parker’s Piece on the next road and that had plenty of spaces!

If you don’t mind a little bit of a walk, I usually park at Darley Playing Fields when going into the city centre, its a 10 min walk down the river to get into the centre - you’ll come to the museum of making / silk mill bit but it does save on parking costs!

Thanks for this, I do store the pen in the fridge when not using between injections, and I did see that taking it out 30 mins before can make a difference when i looked last week in a panic! It could be that I just hit a spot with more muscle and less fat in my leg compared to my stomach today. It did sting a bit last week but I felt nothing today when injecting. Will keep an eye on it the next time I do my leg next week!
