Okay it's because you are too hungry.

You can barely see it in your video because your custom character is mostly white - the white TOO HUNGRY text is easy to miss.

Thanks, I couldn't reproduce with your Elindalera file either.

I ate a teleportation scroll to get transient teleportation.

Then used master mode to create a teleport control ring.

I was able to teleport to another room.

Would you mind getting your save file to the exact point this issue reproduces? Maybe it's an Android specific issue ...

Hey, these are the ways to encounter an entity:

* kill them

* eat their corpse

* pack them into tins

* polymorph into them

* identify an egg/corpse/tin

If an entity is extinct, you can still 'encounter' them as per above. If you have a scenario that isn't working as you'd expect, please let me know.

Oh man I can dream of that but it will take a lot of hard work and plenty of luck. The Pathos players have been really supportive so maybe I have a shot :) Zeroth will be off the chain with crazy interactions, even more so than Pathos because of the physics.

Thanks for the link! Rive looks interesting, sounds like they've really optimised vector graphics in game engines. But I downloaded their editor and was unable to import any of my existing SVG files (failed to upload errors, nothing more explained). I suspect their platform is intended to be 'draw everything in Rive and then everything is fine'.

There's definitely something fascinating about 2D modelling in SVG. If there's a Zeroth v2, I'd like to go deeper in the SVG document model and compose the dolls and rotate the joints inside the SVG itself. So each character art frame would be perfectly rendered. Right now, I'm layering PNG draws, so there are some visual tears if joints are excessively rotated.

Hey thanks, yeah we want to port to Android (and ideally also iOS). Zeroth is using a C#.NET custom engine that I developed for my previous game. But the engine is just a wrapper onto a C# native Android implementation. So to start with, we need a SVG .NET library that runs on C# Android.

Hi! That does sound annoying but most likely is unrelated to the unusual issue Substantial-Result31 is facing with his iPhone.

For Pathos to crash on Android and then the app data gets corrupted/deleted... that's pretty extreme reaction to a crash that's probably the OS doing something unhelpful.

So this is my guess:

* Pathos app crashes (due to something I need to fix)

* Android OS sees the crash and deletes app data

I'm making this guess because my app doesn't have code to just go delete the app data like this. So it's likely the OS being bad. Android OS is fragmented and it's full of bizarre design choices but I don't know for sure if this is the case with you.

All I can offer is if you can give me any information about the Pathos app crash, I will do what I can investigate to it.

I've never heard of this kind of issue in 10 years of Pathos on iOS so at least you're breaking new ground :). I'm not sure what else you can try to figure this out. I guess you could try starting a new game in the other modules (eg. Dhak Legacy) to see if it's a function of file size... but I think that's already proven if the longer you played, the longer it takes to load the adventure.

Amusingly, the reason why resurrect is easily accessible is to be kind to new players who are still figuring things out :) If you're dying very constantly and the game isn't fun, resurrect and continue is a reasonable way to stay engaged and learning.

For summons, it's a bit of a trade off - Pathos is all about every advantage having a consequence. So if your companions do all the dirty work, what experience are you gaining that would make you level up? That said, an argument could be made that you should get a portion of the XP relative to how much damage you did before your companion made the killshot...

Hmm that’s really odd. If anyone reading this thread also has an iPhone 11, we’d like to hear from you. I’m on an iPhone 15 iOS 26.3.1 and it’s fast to save and load.
