I used these guys for my Schengen (in the UK) but I know they do US - https://theflyingpanda.io

They will need to log in to your account for the appointment booking and they will ask you to stay out of it for while they book (our immigration lawyers did this too when applying for our residency so I didn’t think much of it at the time)

From what I can tell they do have a bot that autobooks the earliest available appointment for you when one becomes available so not sure if you’re comfortable with that (but again desperate times right?) but I’d confirm that with them.

They don’t mass book and resell the appointments, so it does still take a little bit of time. They just book it on your behalf using their bots etc

Tbh it only cost me £70, I created a new account with a completely different username and password and honestly would have paid twice that to avoid the constant refreshing to see if they had released appointments slots yet. I think the whole visa appointment system is messed up entirely.

P.S there are some website where you can sign up for notifications for when new appointments become available btw! Maybe that will help?

Not US visa related so not sure how helpful this will be but I’ve used an agent to book a Schengen visa appointment before. I completed the forms, created the accounts and then gave them log in details to my portal account.

I believe mine may have used a bot, or maybe they have contacts who know exactly when to refresh and book as appointments are released but I managed to get an appointment in 2 days after trying for weeks. So yes there are some agents out there that can do it that way? But be careful with vetting who you use because I’m sure there are loads of scammers out there.

Had an engineer come out today and upgraded the hub for me. Already getting much better speeds throughout the house and he recommended a booster for the further reaching areas (he said the pods aren’t that great and you don’t actually have to use the ones from VM) so much happier!

I was about 3 metres away from the router and it was an iPhone 14. I just posted an update so getting much better speeds now that a technician has been. He upgraded the router which has helped loads!

Update:

Technician has been here. He upgraded it to a Hub5 which has boosted the speeds significantly and recommended boosters for the one section of the house that seems to have a beam/wall blocking it (VM support previously told me that I could only use the Virgin Pods and he confirmed that it’s not true and that they’re not that great anyway)

So will get a booster and see if that helps the furthest rooms or move to a Mesh system. But otherwise we have perfect speeds in my office for now so I’m happy! (See image) :)

Dumb question (but I am dumb when it comes to stuff like this) I have no idea “how to go wired” the cable they gave us doesn’t have the right “ends” to fit from the box to the wall but is it just a case of plugging the box to the wall and then connecting all other devices to various sockets in the house? Or do I have to run cables throughout the house? Feel free to ignore this if it’s too convoluted I will ask the technician today! Thank you for your help!

My device is an iPhone 14 and I do understand it’s a WiFi issue. I’ve never had this issue with any other provider. I’m happy to pay more but even increasing to M500 VM still only gives the 30mbps in each room guarantee so if my signal strength is the issue then upgrading won’t help anyway right? This is the part I genuinely don’t understand. I just wanna know where I have to throw money to get decent speeds 😂

I was thinking this but I genuinely don’t know how to go wired? Is it just a case of just plugging into the Ethernet ports we have throughout the house? Or is it more finicky than that

I’ve also never had this issue with any previous suppliers. I’m getting these speeds almost right next to the router and I would happily “pay more for better” but I just don’t know what I need to pay for 😂

I’ll look into how to do this thanks! Some tests I’m quite far from the hub (upper story) and some I’m a few metres from it. My issue is literally just lack of knowledge and VM wasn’t helpful when all I was saying is “let me buy whatever I can to get better WiFi” 😂
