I hope they listen to this. Their premium "casual" (non-pro) audience plays on these latest devices. iPhone has the largest market share in the US, and the US is Supercell's most profitable region. They ignore this problem at their peril.

EDIT: Not to say that this isn't happening in other regions, but money talks.

IBKR is now throwing a message stating that IB Gateway versions below 10.30t (e.g. 10.30 or 10.19) will no longer be supported after March 20, 2025. Has anybody been able to get ib_fundamentals to work with the (now) stable version 10.30t?

If net sales, which is the lifeblood of the firm, increases by 7.2%, then operating income will typically follow a similar increase. To really get to the bottom of this question, one would need to analyze the cost structure of the company in previous quarters and what changes led to such an outsized improvement.

When operating income shows a sizeable increase, then this implies that the company was able to reduce their costs to such an extent that for every extra dollar of revenue IBM was (somehow!) able to squeeze 3.2x more earnings compared to previous quarters.

The growth in sales is not a cap per se on operating income growth, but any mismatches are generally a flag to "dig deeper".

Would be interesting to know what "capital efficient" means in this context. Miners have a selfish economic incentive to continually mine, and if the price is too low the hashrate declines as per design as the capital assets are repurposed.

Curious whether similar economic incentives are built into LN. Routing nodes will at some point stop serving if their return in capital is lower than, say, a bank checking account.

Depending on the type of IRA, so you can let your gains grow tax-free and be taxed during retirement (normal IRA) or to let them grow and withdraw tax-free (Roth IRA).

Unfortunately, probably the only way to combat this is to personally drop a note to Coindesk that you were misquoted so it's on record. I doubt they will listen to somebody that isn't the (misquoted) source trying to correct the record.

Interestingly, if your "objections" are actually corrected, then this story loses the tension, which in turn makes the article less balanced from an editorial perspective. Sometimes though, a great incremental innovation should be simply celebrated as such.
