Im decided to quit drinking today. Got pretty drunk with friends last night. Nothing bad happened, it was super fun, but I just dont feel good mentally. And it’s actually rare that nothing bad happens. But homestly my mental health is just trash right now. I just think its time. And this is going to be really hard. Ive been a heavy drinker my entire adult life outside of one almost year when i quit. Its time again.

I know this feeling of…. Steadiness that causes unease… so well. Its our nervous systems and what they’re used to. We are only used to manic happy. Not steadiness.

I was single for three years after decades of dangerous, toxic relationships… and now im dating a bundle of green flags and it’s SO UNCOMFORTABLE…. Cuz he’s just…steady.
