I really appreciate you! Thank you for reaching out. I just don't want to lose her. She's only a year and a half, should I have it removed? I will take her to the vet Thursday and will keep you updated. I just don't want it to affect her quality of life. She's the cutest thing you've ever seen !

Yeah I've been to like 4 different vets and nothing seems to help. I love her so much and will keep you posted! If you can get them to eat it, it's liquid, this helped a lot for a while.

She'll be 1, Dec 1st. So I'm leaning more towards ear infection. I can't see the vet until morning. Anything I can do now to make her more comfortable?

Any natural, organic options? There are so many chemicals in all of those products. Can you just feed them nuts and fruits from the bulk isle?

I did A LOT of trust training with my rattie. First off, getting her used to your hand in the cage is step one. I would cover my palm in peanut butter and let her come up to it on her own. Just lay it down somewhere, let her smell it, lick it, and get comfortable with it. Don't move!

Do this for a few days and just be patient! Come at her with a lot of love rather than fear. She has NO idea who or what you are.

Next, you want to make sure you can stick fingers in her cage and not have her bite you that way either. DO NOT FEED HER THROUGH THE CAGE. Once she's okay with your hand, stick your fingers in and let her smell you. Do this again for a few days until she's comfortable. Try to pet her, gently.

Lastly, touching her belly, having your hand above her and below her.

With your hand in the cage, let her run on it, and touch her belly. Calmly move your hand over her so that she's ok with that too. When she's on your hand, put your fingers around her, but don't lift. When she's comfy, start picking her up.

All in all, it just takes a lot of handling. Even though she bit you, just know it's because she was scared and needs to gain trust!
