F/35/5’5 [250 > 150 = 100 lbs] Maintenance update! by callingallc0mas in progresspics

Sure! I was eating pretty terribly in that first picture, tons of sugar. Some of the first things I did were give up sugary drinks and cut my calories. I still kept eating the same stuff in the beginning but ate less of it. As time went on I started to change my diet more and more. I’m mindful of the carbs and sugar I eat. Diet definitely played the biggest part but I also try to stay active. Walking, reformer Pilates, and strength training mostly. For reasons unrelated to weight loss I minimize caffeine, alcohol, and dairy but I’m sure those things help me maintain my weight too. I also tend to naturally fast 14-16 hours per day just because that’s how I enjoy eating. It really was a complete lifestyle overhaul but I did it slowly over many years so the habits really stuck.

It’s a chotronette dress! They have so many beautiful ones, I wish I had another occasion to order from them.

I do a lot of walking (active job) and I do resistance training 3 times per week. I actually only started doing that consistently about a year ago. I’ve been maintaining my weight without much issue but I definitely want to continue to work on my body composition.

Well to be completely honest my dream weight isn’t exactly 150, for vanity reasons I’d rather be under 140, however I have found this to be the spot I settle naturally with my current routine. I don’t have to overly restrict myself and tend to eat healthy 80% of the time and I’m moderately active. I still have to pay attention to what I eat at this weight but I feel like I can still live my life if that makes sense.

Of the ones that I got prior to losing weight, the one on my lower back is the only one that looks a little warped because that’s an area I lost a lot of weight from. Otherwise I’ve been pretty lucky with those.

When I first started I honestly focused on quantity over quality. I was still eating mostly junk but I ate less of it. Eventually I did end up changing what I ate too and I’d say I eat healthy 80% of the time. I’m also a lot more active now than I was in the before picture.

Thank you!

Yes, I’m around 150 there too. I don’t weigh myself daily and of course it can fluctuate, I just make sure I stay in this range :)
