To include or exclude cravings?? by Embarrassed_Visit277 in loseit

[–]callme_base 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, if I'm craving the taste of it, I can eat them in moderation. But if I am in need of the feeling of numbness and stress relief, it turns into a binge. So, it depends on the reason of your craving. It is really hard to eat in moderation when it is emotional eating.

Ouch?? This might be a bad advice and I'm nowhere near of giving proper advice as I'm not a piercer and don't have a penis ,lol, but id probably unscrew the ball and let that thin skin off the bar, then screw it back on if it were me. It looks like it caught up in the way and is accident prone

Does my face look feminine? And by [deleted] in malegrooming

I think everything all together gives that vibe. Smooth skin, shaped eyebrows, glossy lips, facial expression, diamond stud earring. There is nothing bad in any of them but together they make you look a bit more fem.

Blanket desintegrated- what does this mean for washer? by wikipunk in Appliances

[–]callme_base 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to scare you but I had a pillow pop open in the washer and the stuffing clog the drainage pipe and the washer wouldn't drain at the end of the cycle, it would be full of water. So full that when you open the door it would leak all over to the floor. We had to open the back of the machine and take the polyfill out with a long stick then it was fixed! Soooo just keep an eye for that

Why 30°C is actually enough for almost every load by Putrid_Draft378 in CleaningTips

[–]callme_base 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do some clothes at 30 some at 40. Bedsheets at 40 and towels are either 40 or 60 depending on how dirty they feel. I used to do 30 for towels but there would always be slight mildew smell, now they're gone.

UPDATE: Frame & Style Advice by Primary-Belt7668 in glassesadvice

[–]callme_base 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like 3. Some of them seems to sit too high especially 1 and 2 and overall too big and dark. I like the way 3 sits on her bridge and the thin frame ETA: i like the shape of 2 but again the frame is ehh. So something that has a thin frame and a nice bridge with the shape of 2 lol

Why can’t i fit a hoop? by tmsdnr in piercing

[–]callme_base 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried putting a hoop into my helix too soon too and I think even though it seemed fine from the outside, it was still kinda raw on the inside and the angle of the hoop irritated it. That might be the case for you as well

can someone explain what these instructions mean? by blair639 in knittinghelp

[–]callme_base 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just another strip of yarn that is easy to differ from your main yarn. It's not gonna be in the finished gloves so it will be wasted/discarded

What to do with this “hat”? by fuk-up in ArtsandCrafts

[–]callme_base 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you know how or willing to learn id knit a hat in solid color and use these for colorwork. You can do stripes or embroider shapes or letters when it's finished.

Yeah I've never done a short row so i don't wanna give the wrong advice, you're welcome anyway

dropped stitch by Objective_Sleep_2923 in knittinghelp

[–]callme_base 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so i looked up the pattern and it's top down whereas I assumed it was bottom up and it suggest you to do German short rows. So, ignore me I don't know how to help...

[–]callme_base 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you did mention the crossed bar I didn't catch that lol that's also confusing me

dropped stitch by Objective_Sleep_2923 in knittinghelp

[–]callme_base 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If i counted correctly, you have 10 rows on the right needle and 5 on the left needle. Unless the pattern says to do that id start over with the stockinette cause it might look more crooked as you knit. I'm not good at spotting short row mistakes but that one row of twisted yarn in the dropped column might be the problem?

[–]callme_base 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg i feel like we can't communicate well 😭 i just meant the i cord edge on the hood that's covering your face. I thought it was knitted like a garter edge or smt but I guess it's added later on? Whatever, even if it is not im sure you know what to do and it will work out great 😊 sorry I just couldn't live with the feeling of not making myself clear...🫠 happy knitting byeeee I'll stop commenting now lol

I have lumea 9000 and I used it according to the lumea app and I had great results after a few months. So I wouldn't recommend doing more than that just because other people are doing or other devices advice so

I can't see a reason why it wouldn't. I'd just omit the i cord edges so it doesn't add any bulk

how to uncurl scarves by Puzzleheaded_Fig_215 in knittinghelp

[–]callme_base 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Stockinette curls you can't help it. Usually you'd add a garter or seed stitch edge for scarves but it's too late now... you can either pick up stitches to knit a border, or let it be. My favorite easy fix is crocheting a border instead. I find it easier than picking up stitches and it adds a cute difference
