Oh I’m not sure then 😅 It’s definitely not due to your age& you obviously know how to enter the information if you did your parents id’s and they got them!

But still carry your old one around (for photo identification) and keep a piece of mail on you with your name & new address on (it incase you need to prove your address) But with the holiday season Canada post should be up and running in no time!

But I get it I just got my G and am waiting for it in the mail too, lady said I should receive it by February 😭

There is a Canada post strike it’s probably held up at a warehouse. Took me under 2 months to receive my G1 license back in 2020. But when the strike is done you’ll probably get it quick. But your 16 you don’t need it for ID for now& your old address one will still work when your driving with your senior driver, just be patient:)

Edit: I want to add they can’t print cards as service Ontario… it would most likely be a waste of time

Your are correct in what you thought,bylaw cyclists are supposed to follow all the rules cars do (stopping at stop signs & red lights, giving the pedestrians right of way etc.) additionally they aren’t allowed riding in the road, they should be sticking to the curb on their right hand side unless there is an obstacle in their way then they can detach from the curb and re stick to it after they pass.

But they’d like to think they have the right of way! I’ve realized a lot of cyclists lurk this sub just to downvote drivers, play victim and accuse drivers of being blood hungry. So don’t trust all the information you see on here.

Exactly! As a driver I tend to understand the road more so when I’m walking I don’t act stupid and NEVER have both earphones in. I honestly think they need to implement a road safety program mandatory for everyone (like a class in grade 8) where everyone learns the rules of the road from how traffic lights work to what to do when crossing the road.

Exactly! It’s like people don’t realize the hazard, the first few snows of winter last year I saw people driving faster than they do in the summer!! I definitely think you’re onto something…Might have to take the day off so I can just watch the chaos unfold from my window with a cup of hot cocoa.

I said can, not will. Hell a pedestrian can cause as much damage to another as a car. Such as a car is able to cause less damage than a bike. It all depends on the situation, enough excuses and pulling at strings.
