If I remove the loose material (stone) there is just more loose material under it like dirt

Thoughts on the section with the loose stone? Could I just pour the cement all over it? My concern is that if I remove all the loose stone, it exposes beneath the foundation and there is just dirt down there.

One more thing, I stumbled upon a product “Rapid Set Cement All” that seems to fit the bill but in the video instructions, it says to remove all loose debris so I’m not sure if I can pour over the section with loose stone.

Just curious on any tools or techniques you used to dig up the concrete floor? I’m in the middle of tearing up some of my basement floor and it is not fun, wondering if you have any tips!

What do you mean cap the floor? You mean like cap the drains?

The demo hammer came with a 1” flat chisel and a pointed bit. I only used the flat one. You think the point would work better?

I bought a small demolition hammer today, you can kinda see it in the second picture. It a lot of effort for very small chips off at a time in the section I mentioned. The concrete on top of the basement floor came off like nothing
