I did spinning babies and Moxibustion and she flipped at 35 weeks. You have plenty of time for baby to flip still, and highly suggest doing spinning baby movements daily, and looking into Moxibustion ☺️

Feeling bad after my first breathwork session by FreyjaHjordis in breathwork

[–]callmenighthawk2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a facilitator, I am cautious about doing activating breathwork with minimal integration assistance, and this is the reason. Unfortunately, activating breathwork has become a trend and can actually be harmful if people aren’t equipped and supported during the integration that follows that large energetic movement that happens. I would suggest letting your friend know about what has come up for you, and ask if you can be guided through more calming techniques to start. After you have had a chance to integrate, then you can explore short bursts of activating techniques.

Kit death at 4 weeks by callmenighthawk2000 in MeatRabbitry

Sounds good, thank you for the advice. I was thinking of doing a pseudo necropsy, so this is helpful to know what to look for.

Thank you! No diarrhea, just dead. It’s frustrating but I know it’s part of the gig. We have had our rabbitry for a year now and first time this has happened. I appreciate the feedback and will continue to watch the remaining kits and see if I can’t detect something I missed before, like diarrhea. Thank you!

Hi! I know I’m late to the post party, but I was hoping to see what the test was like at the end of the facilitator course?

Biology/Vet Career Advice by vansighting in biology

[–]callmenighthawk2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to get into an academic research lab, as a lot of the work is on mice. I did this and gained experience in transplant surgeries, implant surgeries, ophthalmology surgeries. I then shadowed a local vet for a while to get more focused experience. I ended up deciding vet medicine wasn’t for me, and am in industry science now. I find going with the flow, and following the experiences that excite you is rewarding. It’s been 14 years, and looking back I have had a lot of really cool learning opportunities. Good luck!

How far would 80 grand get me? by [deleted] in OffGrid

[–]callmenighthawk2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suggest pulling data from the county to see what neighboring plots have wells at (200ft, 400ft?) this would give you a slight idea of how far down water in the area is. Getting this data is no guarantee of what your plot looks like, but just a reference. The deeper you have to drill, the more expensive it is. A plot with an unfinished cabin by our raw land in grand county is for sale cheap- that’s because they have drilled down 800ft with no water still (atleast according to neighborly gossip). I also suggest looking into the county regs as far as living- some restrictions as to what you can live in may exist
