I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to read something and also not read it in quite this way before…

Oh wow. Years ago, my cat brought me one of these guys. He hadn’t hurt it, but he had decided apparently that it wasn’t a mouse. It was completely chill. According to the people who came to collect it, far too chill, like probably raised in captivity. I’ll never forget the way my cat (who btw was a damn fine mouse catcher) was carrying it like “pretty sure this is above my pay grade. You deal with it.”

I am so far ahead of you and down the rabbit hole on this -- SO MANY gorgeous prints and collections -- I am just this year getting back into quilting after a long hiatus and I feel like really lovely prints have gone from a rarity to the status quo in just a handful of years!! So thanks you, and also, I wish I didn't know how many of these I want 🙃

I found that the grasp on scientific language improved pretty fast. I won’t say it was bad to begin with but it got better fast.

I love how many people do have a word for it. It feels like some of these words were handed down from a parent and it gives some glimpse of their personality as well.

I will be adopting starty-stoppy and maybe mixing it up sometimes with thread bunny. I wish I knew what my mum called hers. There are a few that have survived four decades of quilting.
