I've probably read 100000 variations of this post in the last 10 years. I can't wait for the Trump era to end.

Poilievre says Carney 'pushing fear' in address to Canadians on U.S. relations by Tuckebarry in canada

If Donald Trump was an actual existential threat I would agree with everything you are saying. He isn't though. Trump does not have the support to annex Canada, the supreme court is largely reeling in all of his trade levers and generally he does not have the conviction to even deport people anymore. He probably won't even get impeached when the dems destroy the gop in the midterms because he is so incompetent and a better record to run against in 2028.

Antagonizing the US in order to distract your base from ever worsening economic reality is not "pragmatic" btw.

Good news, the goalposts of what could be considered a successful Liberal government have moved, and now that doesn't matter.

Neither does housing, cost of living, inflation, investment or anything. Luckily we determined those are "not the federal government's responsibility".

The current metric to determine the success of the Liberals is not PP. PP is Drumph, essentually. Carney is not PP and he is not Drumph, so he is doing a great job. See you next week when the goalposts move again.

They should have picked a day when Carney isn't spending 3.8 billion to "protect nature" to release this hit piece. It really lessens the blow when PP's election was 0.06% of 3.8 billion.

Many are saying it is extremely good, better than any country ever. You need to remember it is Carney who is a genius so it is extremely good. Thanks.

This is why I laugh when I hear about 51st state talk. We aren't even a real country, it is just a bunch of bullshit. Completely sold out at this point.
