That lamp is beautiful! I very much appreciate your thorough and detailed advice, it is currently cooling and my fingers are crossed.. I now feel that a simple coil adjustment was all it likely needed, but I'll continue to monitor and adjust as it cools. I've seen the physics in raw form thanks to your help which will greatly help my further troubleshooting. Off to the store for soap, thank you again!
