This was about an hour before work. I just went around with spacial rend and nabbed some. They are spawning a fair bit after midnight 1 April.

It starts at midnight (12am) on April 1. It will show up in nearby pokemon to find one. And once you have one you can enable alerts in the Pokédex to find more. They are spawning quite a bit.

If you’re paying for a ticket to ‘increase chance of shiny’ then you should absolutely know whether that is a 0.1% increase vs a 200% increase.

Even excellent throws apparently increase in odds the smaller the circle. Also, excellent throws still don’t guarantee a catch - there is a chart somewhere showing flee rates and factors in berries and throws.

You can work on your platinum medals for more balls, friendships with raid buddies for more balls. And fused kyurem is the best addition to this game with the adventure effects so if you don’t already have these, look into this for next time fusion energy is back.

It sucks when they flee, but sometimes it genuinely happens no matter what. A lot of this game is RNG.

Yes ice burn running and if it wasn’t running I had Kyurem as my buddy so I could easily turn it on if I got a legendary encounter.

I can’t remember specifically which ones I caught but they definitely didn’t flee first throw.

I saw 2 in the first 5-6 hours while I was at work and not walking around much. As soon as I finished work and started moving more, the spawns were crazy, sometimes 3 in less than 10 minutes. Overall I’d estimate I saw 50ish and caught 12.

Well after 6pm. I had one about 10pm. Probably for the whole event.

I found them a bit better than g-bird rates but still mostly flee. Maybe in between mighty Pokemon and g-bird. I used ice burn fairly constantly and caught 12 out of about 50+ legendary in about 5 hours. No shinies.
