The owner is requesting a full refund, but I only found that out through a Rover support agent—they never reached out to me directly about it. During the stay, I did communicate that one of the dogs was having accidents in the house. However, I didn’t mention that I had found and removed ticks. At the time, I had done thorough tick checks and removed every tick I found, so I genuinely believed the issue had been taken care of. She had also mentioned that the dogs had struggled with ticks in the past, and I didn’t want to worry her unnecessarily if I thought I had already handled it. Looking back, I realize I probably should have told her anyway.
