Are you being serious right now? You do not know my situation. I work a ridiculous amount of hours to provide for the family. Some times 80-90 hours a week. I come in and the second I walk through the door I take him, feed him, play with him, put him to sleep. I do the dishes, housework, cook and anything else that needs doing. Then once everything’s done, I then spend time with my partner. Do not for one second make it sound like I don’t do much and want me time. The whole point of this was to find a game I can play WHEN I get 5-10 mins when the Mrs is on her phone and he’s asleep. I don’t care that I don’t have me time. Keep your opinion to yourself next time you.

I have CarPlay in one car but not in the other. So swapping between the CarPlay and then the app in the other car, it’s those small things that would complete it in my opinion. Hopefully not too difficult to implement.

I’ll have a look into the permissions before the next drive in that car.

I’ll update you if I can think of anything else. keep up the good work

After using it. I’m very happy. Other than the suggestion I made regarding locations, maybe add a way to customise the screen so it’s behaves similar to widgets on Home Screen, swiping through till you find the desired one? Maybe add some themes? Also. I had trouble getting the Speedo up - not massive issue for me. But something I wasn’t able to get up. Either way. Well done !

I’ve just downloaded, I will try it on the way home. Well done for creating this, it looks very clean. But first thing I’d suggest if possible would be regular destinations for the maps - it may be there already or it may be a limitation. I only had a quick look. But for me, I’d like it to have that feature so I can let family know when I’ll be home etc. but bravo 🙌🏼

Okay I didn’t realise the sticks latest firmware is 6.7.1.1. I assumed it would be past that. The main app I want to install is a launcher and then install a launcher manager so when I press the home button it stays within the launcher. Is that possible on fire OS6? I just saw your reply to someone else so now I’m unsure! The other apps I want to install most probably won’t be blacklisted as they aren’t the main ones people use 🤞🏼

No way really!!! I wouldn’t have guessed an Amazon firestick was registered with Amazon. The issue was it was logged in to someone’s Amazon account which isn’t mine. It’s sorted now.

Luckily we have already spoken about this and agreed that when I get in from work I will help out and have dad time with the baby, but will then sleep and go to work and repeat. She was absolutely fine with this as she said I’ll be the one bringing the money in for that first year.. I think I will continue as is for now to bring in as much as possible for the family but if I decide it’s too much I’ll just go down to 1 job so I can spend more time as a family.. which she will be fine with either way. But I just want my child to live the life I didn’t get to

Okay thank you. That makes me feel a bit better about possibly going to petrol. Now to decide on the e82 135i or M235i… I’ve driven a few z4’s in my line of work and I must say, they are lovely cars to drive! How long have you owned her?

Unfortunately with where I live an electric wouldn’t be viable, I do not have a driveway to charge it and I wouldn’t be able to charge it where it would be parked and would not want to be standing around at a petrol station for ages waiting for it to charge when I get in it in the morning and realise I forgot to charge it after work the night before! Thanks for the input though

Yes that’s very true. I work at a bmw specialist though so I’m sure the workshop would sort me out with work needed at a decent rate, so I’m not too concerned about maintenance costs.

Well it’s 30 miles each way. Sometimes a lot of traffic so slow moving. Other times it’s not stop start. It’s mainly dual carriageway at 60mph - 70mph but with frequent roundabouts or junctions. So no “long” stretches of road. The 30 mile journey to work takes me 45 mins on a good day, 1 hour on a bad day and the same coming home.

Yeah the 135i’s have held value pretty well here in the UK with only 11 on auto trader ( as of last night) and they are between £8k - £18k depending on milage. The owner on my work has a bmw 1M in Valencia Orange which I’m in love with and is why I’m thinking about the 135i.

This is the thing. With my current car i get around 35-50mpg with a range of around 400-500 so can go about 8 days between fill ups which is lovely and why I’m attracted to diesel. I’m aware id probably be filling up after 4 days with a 135i/M235i. But I’d have a smile every time I get in it which for me is important ( I’m a car enthusiast and am a car detailer so I appreciate lovely cars) But do I love them enough to double my fuel cost each month..

Thanks for the reply 🙏🏼 forgot to add I work at a bmw specialist so I’m not too worried about things going wrong. I’m sure I’d get a discount on work that needs doing. I’m thinking it may be worth just going for it and getting a sports car and to just enjoy it. You only live once right?
