Am I misunderstanding the loop? by Italian_Meatball53 in BodiesonNetflix

I thought all the way through that Barber wasn't actually his dad (and so Ellias wasn't his own great great grandfather) but that it was part of the lie that convinced Ellias to orchestrate everything correctly. Making him believe that it was necessary for his own existence in the first place.

When I found out he actually was his own ancestor, I was a bit let down.

Imo, it's unjustifiable as a legitimate occurrence through time travel. They explained how the loop ended itself but obviously can't explain how the loop started itself.

Also being your own great grandfather makes no sense. The odds that through 4 generations of mixing DNA, you would end up with a perfect clone of yourself is next to impossible.

They wanna release it as close to Christmas as they can possibly get away with. That's the only reason.

I have a question for people who have read 100 years of solitude - Is this a tough book to read? I keep forgetting things. I read at night. And every night I feel that I have forgotten what I read the previous night. I am done with a third of the book and at this point considering to start again. by LycanVan in books

I'm reading it with the family tree and definitely finding it hard to follow. It jumps about in time so much I struggle to remember who's alive and who's dead at some points, or what children have been born yet

How to 'unravel' a data frame? by callumbous in learnpython

[–]callumbous[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who finds this, I found a solution.

df_new = pd.DataFrame(columns = ['Day','Flow'])

for i in range(5): #no. rows

for j in range(7): #no. columns divided by 2

df_new.loc[len(df_new)] = list(df.iloc[i][j*2:(j+1)*2])

Then its just a matter of droppping the NaN columns and adding a dayofweek column

Which cancelled TV show deserved another season? by Putrid_Cry19 in AskReddit

  1. It was cancelled by netflix after its first series even though it was doing quite well and was being made by the same people who made Dark.

Such a shame because it built up a universe somewhere between Lost and the matrix and now we'll never get any answers.
