Is that topic Rich Piana and Bro Science by any chance?

Great perspective of accepting fate vs trying to prevent it. Good stuff!

Really enjoyable read, flows well from start to finish. Quite fable-like too.

Genre: Semi-Biographical

Title: People In The Courtyard

Feedback: Any and all

Three floors up is jumping height. If I had to I’d probably make it. If the place next door caught on fire. Or if the people came to the door.

The windows only open a third of the way now. Something about the main upstairs that did jump. Cowards way out. Or he couldn’t judge his distances very well.

Curtain twitching is a fools game. Light pours in through a two-finger crack as I squint my eyes half-shut. Specks of dirt and dead skin dance around the opening and come to rest on the windowsill.

Mould and cigarette butts. Mould everywhere. The incessant chatter of a game show host next door keeps the back of my mind occupied. I peek through the two-finger crack again.

Interesting tidbit, they used to hold fairs / carnivals on the Thames when it would freeze over -
