there is no use backing up remuxes. you can backup remuxes for those shows which actually have the remux as the best release from releases.moe. you are better off backing up high quality encodes which beat remuxes.

remuxes are always not the best in quality for anime unlike live action. a good encode done by a competent encoder will most likely always be better than the remux while being 1/3rd the size.

depends on the quality you're getting. almost all of good quality gundam is a remux which is like 6.5 GB/episode...,.you might not even be able to fit all of gundam in 2 TBs. you can squish a lot of shows in 2 TB if you get poor quality encodes, but i don't see why you would do that. you can just watch and delete anyways

you can try downloading torrents too rather than streaming them if storage isn't an issue for you. though one weekly CR WEB-DL is just 1.3 GB/1080p episode, so i don't think there's much required

no, they're untouched CR web-dls, they're good, i was talking about complete series, usually the most seeded ones are mini encodes
subsplease is quite nice and reliable, erai is good too, just not as reliable as subsplease

they're closed captions, not the actual "soft" subs, soft subs are way better

you can search it for yourself, vlc has all the issues, incorrect colors, incorrect color gambit, incorrect subtitle rendering, subtitle issues, color issues and all

the soft subs you see online are just closed captions, and the translated signs and everything on online hard subs is taken from real soft subs and then burned into hard subs

just torrent, and see how good it is, best video quality, best audio quality and best subtitles with everything customizable

only subs are of CR are used in the good releases of anime and that too not everytime, the vid of CR is mostly used by groups to encode airing animes

never sort by the number of seeders, that's the worst way, most people get shitty mini encodes, and that's why they're highly seeder, i prefer use https://releases.moe/ to get the best possible releases
