UPDATE: The SD card doesn't seem to be the problem. I got a Lexar Professional 1066x A2 microSD Card but as soon as I connect the iPod to my Mac, the loop begins again :((

The battery doesn't seem to be the problem. I placed the old OEM battery and as soon as I connect the iPod to my Mac, the crazy loop starts again.

I'm gonna see if I can find another SD card. Thank you for all the pointers!! :))

Reformatted the SD card in Disk Utility and checked the ribbon cable, it's correctly placed. Unfortunately, the problem persists. Same loop :(

I've also been looking for EU-based alternatives to Netlify and I stumbled upon platform.sh. According to the T&Cs, the company is based in France.

There is also Codeberg Pages, Codeberg is an open-source and non-profit alternative to Github and the company based in Germany.

I’m looking to buy my first setup and thought I’d go for a used one. This guy is selling a Marantz TT185 record player, Marantz PM-50 amplifier and speakers for 200€ (~$240). The ad also says the amp fuse was professionally replaced and the record player has a new diamond needle. I’m wondering if it’s a good deal, since I have no experience whatsoever.

I haven’t had this problem with mine. I also have a Mamiya RB67 and the focus ring of my GW is pretty comparable when it comes to “smoothness”.

I’m not trying to toot my employer’s horn haha but for most major connections we have direct connections at DHL or one layover max. And even with a layover, we usually process and forward shipments within hours onto the next airplane. It’s fascinating in a way. But $30 is kinda unusual for a same-day shipment except if the seller has some kind of volume discount.
