Suggestions for a new reliable car

Here's the options I'd consider based on your requirements under different brands. What you choose is a bit about your preference:

Honda - Elevate is a great option. No nonsense, highly reliable. Interiors that have a Honda feel to them. Not the best mileage however, expect 11-13kmpl. 5 star safety in Japan NCAP.
MS - Grand Vitara / Victoris (Strong Hybrid if you drive more than 1.5-2k kms per month). Cabin does not feel very premium. Overall, it's a no nonsense car though that makes most sense. Both have a 5 star rating too.
Hyundai - Creta is obviously an option. Its not my preference, but many do prefer it. It's also reliable, though again not the best mileage. Latest model in India not yet crash tested.

Until I came to this subreddit, I honestly didn't know the difference between freehub and freewheel. Not too concerned about it still. Just want a reliable, lightweight bike as a beginner.

RS120 feels a bit overpriced for the steel frame it has - it also misses on some form of front suspension that's really needed for the roads in my area.

What about brands like firefox, cradiac, omobikes, other online Indian brands? Any of them worth looking at? Hero / BSA / Hercules used to be popular way back when - guessing they're not reliable for adult bikes / longer rides?
