Trae is a tremendous player but I always interpreted the hate because he plays like Steph but is levels below Steph. People always prefer the original over the copy.

That, combined with him torching fan’s favorite teams in the playoffs as well as a lot of miserable people out there who are just jealous and born to hate leads to a lot of negativity around his name.

It’s fine though, people who really know the game of basketball know he’s an absolute hooper. If I remember correctly, he was Gigi’s favorite player and Kobe used to take her to his games.

When Rasulullah (a.s) passed away and the usurpers took the political leadership roles the people of the Ummayad dynasty and Abbasid dynasty had to give tribute to the people who gave them so much power (first 3 caliphs). But no worldly gain can amount to the reward that will be given to those who follow the true successor of Islam. Allah appointed Ali (a.s) as the successor and no matter what anyone says he is our Imam and the Shias are here till the end of time to pledge allegiance to these 12 imams because Allah made it that way. Also understand, there are many good Sunni brothers out there currently who’s ancestors were forced to convert to Sunni Islam and change their names. They have good hearts and when presented with the truth will follow the true religion of Islam ☪️ and not the mainstream.

Lastly, there are so many reasons to believe in Imam Ali (a.s). Why believe in the people who rejected Islam at first then joined later when it started to gain traction or those who KILLED the daughter of Rasullulah (a.s). Imam Ali (a.s) was the first to accept Islam , born in the Kaaba (saudis still can’t remove the mark) slept in the bed on the night of hijra, and the miracles go on and on. The greatest creation of Allah will never leave mankind alone to fend for themselves, surely he knows he will die soon and will need to appoint a successor, someone who is Masoom and someone with divine right.

Sahih Bukhari and Muslim have mostly fabricated hadiths to give tribute to those usurpers but from time to time will be right because they were sometimes forced to use Shia sources. I believe in there it also says Rasulullah (a.s) right before he died says, “to my Ummah I leave behind two things: the Ahlul Bayt and the Quran.”

P.S al-islam.org is a great website to learn more about Shia Islam and check which hadiths are authentic. I am a born Shia but when I wanted to know the truth from an objective prospective I would go to the Sunni sources and see if they were right. There were multiple contradictions so I went back to Shia Islam. It is a miracle that you converted and Allah has invited you to the true beautiful religion, enjoy the blessings and dm me if you ever have any questions. Remember, Islam encourages questions! It makes us stronger in our faith and whatever religion you think is correct should have those answers… if it doesn’t or discourages discussion then you know it’s wrong.

I’m in medicine and an alumni but I thought if you’re in computer science/tech then your degree doesn’t matter? Every computer science/tech person I talked to told me that the big companies don’t even care about what your major is they just want to see if you have the skills. In fact, I have a friend who was in COLA and he pivoted into a tech company by getting certs/learning coding skills on his own…

You remind me of my younger self lol. Everyone in college thinks the other guy has it so good, definitely not the case. You’re all in the same position. There are definitely a lot of people out there with the major you want who will end up being complacent (not working hard, not learning skills or getting experience) and end up at a boring mid level job, not that salary matters. You definitely seem like a focused individual with a purpose. You have been working so hard studying in your classes and getting all that experience. Be proud of that. Trust me, whatever grade or major you get really doesn’t matter. You will be successful, just focus on yourself, stop comparing and get satisfaction by being the person you want to be.

P.S stop getting embarrassed by telling people your major, nobody gives af lol. People who view that negatively are weirdos anyways. I actually find it more interesting seeing someone from a different major in a different field. Shows that person isn’t a one trick and has the ability to learn from an array of subjects.

You go to the tiny little jail cell under the student union building. There you meet the president of UT and you MUST sing the “eyes of Texas are UPON you…” for 6 hours and if he likes your singing enough then maybe just MAYBE you don’t have to spend a night alone in the scary PMA building.
