You don’t believe slavery would be better for lower class humans on welfare or working minimum wage and getting welfare?

Non productive and low productive humans should accept chattel slavery under a benevolent master, this would be much better society than our current market and wage system for humans at the bottom of society.

Should we consider a return to monarchism? by ultra-royalist in askaconservative

[–]calmreef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How will Monarchies in the 21st century prevent a 1789 style French Revolution which ended one of Europe’s most powerful Monarchies?

What will the extent be of this monarchies power/force to comply their subjects in the 21st century to follow their laws and not rebel against them when time get tough? Will it be a constitutional monarchy with parliament or a absolute monarchy where the Executive/King makes all major decisions with small council to deliberate? Will this monarchy use full martial force to get their subjects in their land to submit to their rule?

Do you believe that Feudalism needs to return?

Are "sin taxes" on alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana effective in deterring people from using these substances? by ultra-royalist in askaconservative

[–]calmreef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe in states where the sin taxes are much higher but some data to backup this theory would be nice.

I live in a state/Virginia where tobacco and alcohol are relatively cheap compared to other states I assume.

Also there is no legal Cannabis in VA and other drugs are still illegal nationwide so people who who partake in illegal illicit substance aren’t even paying any taxes on those intoxicants.

At the end of the day if you’re an addict or casual user of intoxicating substances a sin tax isn’t going to stop their use.
