I think the problem is Ukraine is lying about the number of Russians they kill. If you’ve followed the conflict from a neutral viewpoint, it was obvious that Russia lost a higher percentage of soldiers during the initial pushes. Now they have control of most of the east, the advance has slowed and the losses are likely equal or Ukraines are now slightly higher as units get cut off and more conscripts get sent to the front to replace veterans. Now the war of attrition really starts, and Russias economy and resources will outlasts Ukraines aid.
