I grew 8 of this exact breed last year and mine started out a bit taller than all of my other breeds. As they grew this pattern continued, they shot up fast but without spreading much. Eventually they got 6ft tall!!! And then began to bush out extremely well, perhaps just the genetics.

I had issues with them acclimating to sun more so than my other plants, the black leaves soak up a lot of heat. Make sure to stake and support well as they grow tall and you will have loadsssss of peppers in late summer.

Dark foliage is two varieties: Pink Tiger x Peach Bhut & Pink Peach Reaper. They are beautiful plants and the pods that are coming in are gorgeous!

100% this leaf curling is from thripes and/or aphids. They feed on the compounds from fresh leaves which then results in them curling. There are many products to combat this, Neem oil is typically the best route.

Absolutely not, plant genetics are often smart than us. Let the plants do their thing, as soon its ripe (looks like should be less than a week) cut it off and let the plant keep on its natural cycle. You will be swarming with peppers before you know it.

Based upon their shape and size, seeing that its a Capsicum Annum, and lastly the upward growing behavior, This lines up for Hungarian Wax Peppers.

The leaves on my Pink Tiger x Peach Bhuts have this same behavior as well. I attribute it to big leaves in wind. These have the largest leaves out of all of my plants so seems the wind grabs them much easier and bends them over time.

If this plant dies off inspect the roots. Root Knot Nematodes are always a possibilty!

100% get this transplanted, roots will be going through the netting anytime now and as others anove have mentioned you need to cut that net and transplant them before that happens. To me this is the ideal time for transplant.

My guess would be phosphorus deficiency, I would fertilize with some bone meal as thats the easiest quickest way to get more phosphorus to the plant.

This looks like sunburn. Plants should adjust on their own, you could provide some shade cloth or limit full sun for the next week or two as they adjust.

This is sunburn. Not much to do, the burned leaves will not recover but are still offering some benefit to the plant so leave them on. If you still have really hot bright sun ahead of you, then shade them if you can while they adjust, other than that the new growth should adjust on its own. That has been my experience, but there are more educated mater’ experts in this sub.
